The BVA Sonique concept is unique in the scheme of professional vocal music organizations.  Our mission is to present chamber music concerts of significant vocal repertoire in programs equally balanced between solo voices and ensemble, and we focus on music from the 19th-century to the present. Performances are in the intimacy of small halls, and our modest budget goes toward, first and foremost, the singers (link page). We aim to rediscover through rehearsal and live performance, music that intrigues and delights, amuses and touches us in unanticipated ways.
